We are now recruiting new students both Seniors &
Juniors, and if you are interested please just turn up on either
Sunday or Wednesday evening. We teach students from the age of
6years old.
Beginners should wear loose clothing, such as
jogging bottoms and a t-shirt. If you wish to, a Karate
Suit(Gi) can be purchased through the instructors.
Membership
It is important that you become a member of the
BKK as soon as possible, not only for insurance cover but also to be
able to enter BKK tournaments and other events.
Before you can attempt your first grading you must obtain your BKK
licence and membership card (for seniors), which is a simple
process. Your club Instructor will give you the form which requires
your name, address & date of birth.
The yearly membership fee is £28.50 for Seniors and £16.00 for Juniors and this
together with the form and a passport sized photograph is to be
handed to your club Instructor.
Renewal of all licences is due on 31st
January.
Each session only costs £2.50, and grading costs vary
according to grade (see table below).
